Glamorous pictures?

The event last weekend was a "no cameras" event, and while we'll have pictures, I don't have them yet.

And I think I'll keep them private when we get them - no need to embarrass the beautiful people any more than we already did.

So to make up for that, here's a glamorous shot from about seventeen years ago that maddog (on the left) found the other day. It's from DECUS, New Orleans, 1994.

As you can tell, I knew how to party back then too. I'm the handsome young man on the right, in case you couldn't guess.

They called me "The Stud".

  1. I'd like to see some "glamorous pictures". But then I have an ulterior motive. My dad tells me he is your fifth cousin so that makes your family photos, MY family photos!

  7. "The Stud"? The story I heard was that your friends had a sense of irony and called you "The Git".

  15. moenduran: that's a Citizen Ana-Digi, I'll have you know.

The fact that doing a google image search for it, and picking the one that looks the most familiar gets you to a "nerd watch museum" page is purely coincidental.

Linus Torvalds do you plan on working on the StarTrek replicator and solve the hunger problem? Can Linux implement that? I kind of doubt but I had to ask.
